UPDATE:
In November 2010, $700,000 in pledges and gifts were received during our DreamLand campaign for the purchase of land for Hope’s permanent home in Ankeny.
In August, 2011 we finalized the purchase of 20 acres of land on the north side of Ankeny.
Because the DreamLand pledges will come in over a three year period, ending in Dec. 2013, we took out a loan to purchase the land.
- Praise God $250,000 was already in the bank!
- The amount of the loan was only $450,000.

Steps to cheerful, Bible-based giving!
- Step ONE: Pray.
"Lord what do you want to do through me to accomplish your will for Lutheran Church of Hope?" (Romans 12:2)
- Step TWO: Listen to God.
Keep asking (Matthew 7:7) until God lays a number on your heart. Be still. (Psalm 46:10). Listen to God, not people.
- Step THREE: Take a leap of faith.
Trust God enough to give whatever he calls you to give, and with a clear sense for the eternal impact of your offering (Luke 12:32-34). Now you can experience the joy and freedom of giving as a matter of faith! Enjoy the feeling!
"You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully." —2 Corinthians 9:7
You can fulfill your pledges by either of the following ways:
1.) You can schedule a regular on-line payment by going to www.hopeankeny.org and clicking on the MyHopeLink button
(or click HERE). Set up a username and password and follow the instructions. You can give to the Hope Ankeny general fund or the Hope Ankeny DreamLand fund this way. Currently, the DreamLand fund is going to pay for the land. Once the land is paid for, we’ll use that fund for an actual building.
2.) You can put a check in the offering during any worship service. All checks go to the general fund by default so if you want the check to go to the DreamLand fund simply indicate so on the memo line (NB building, DreamLand, etc.)
